Installation Instructions
-------------------------
Note: The HELP file is available as a separate download from my site at
			http://members.optusnet.com.au/virtualtrains/downloads.html

FIRST - If you have an old version of Route_Riter (v6) which you wish to
remove, copy the file KillTokens.bat into the existing Route_Riter folder
and click on it in Windows Explorer to run it. This will remove the existing
tokens from the registry. After which you may uninstall Route_Riter from the
Control Panel.

Before you install Route_Riter v7, you must have a Java runtime
program installed on your PC. This may be downloaded from:-

http://www.java.com/en/

Note: Route_Riter v7 does not require .Net Framework nor TK.MSTS.Utils to run
unlike earlier versions. This version will run under Windows XP or Vista.

Once this installer completes, it will install Martin Wright's graphics .dll files.

The installer will also install the programs Aceit.exe and TGATools2a.exe - You MUST ensure that the installer points to your Route_Riter folder and not to Route_Riter\Aceit or Route_Riter\TGATools2 - Edit the path as required.

The folder Route_Riter\Default contains an updated version of the Default.wag file which should be used in place of your Trainset\Default\Default.wag file, especially if you wish to use the updated Coupler files included with this package. This Default.wag file is also required if you use the MSTSbin patch.

NOTE FOR VISTA USERS:-
It has been found that you may need to run Route_Riter as an administrator under Vista.

To do this:-

Open the folder which contains the program file (by default C:\program files\Route_Riter}
Right-click the Route_Riter.exe file
On the Compatability tab, click the 'Run this program as an Administrator' check-box.
Click OK, then the program will always run in Administrator mode

Please send me any queries regarding this installer.
